1Eligibility & User Account

• You must be at least 18 years of age to register for and use Charge Ghar services.
• You are required to complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification with accurate, truthful identity documents before renting.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All information provided during registration and KYC must be accurate, complete, and up to date.
• You may only hold one active Charge Ghar account. Creating multiple accounts is strictly prohibited.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• Charge Ghar reserves the right to verify your identity at any time and may suspend accounts with suspicious information.

2Rental Rules & Usage

• Power banks must be rented exclusively through the official Charge Ghar app by scanning the QR code on the station.
• Each user may rent only one power bank at a time.
• The rental period begins when the power bank is released from the station and ends upon successful return to any Charge Ghar station.
• Power banks must be used only for their intended purpose — charging personal electronic devices.
• You must not tamper with, modify, or disassemble the power bank or any charging station.
• Power banks must not be used for commercial resale or any unlawful purpose.
• You are responsible for the safe custody of the power bank during the rental period.

3Payments, Fees & Billing

• Users must maintain a minimum wallet balance or have a valid payment method linked before renting.
• Rental fees are calculated based on the duration of use from rental start to return confirmation.
• All transactions are final. Refunds will only be considered for verified technical errors caused by Charge Ghar.
• Overdue charges apply if the power bank is not returned within the maximum rental period.
• A security deposit may be required and will be refunded upon successful return.
• Charge Ghar may charge your linked payment method for outstanding fees, penalties, or unreturned power bank costs.
• Prices are in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) and may be subject to applicable taxes.

4Liability, Damages & Loss

• Users are fully responsible for the power bank during the entire rental period.
• Damage to the power bank will result in a penalty fee equivalent to the replacement cost.
• Failure to return within the maximum period results in a "Lost" status and full penalty charge.
• Charge Ghar is not liable for damage to your personal devices caused by use of our power banks.
• Charge Ghar is not responsible for losses arising from stolen or lost power banks after they leave the station.
• Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid in the relevant rental transaction.

The Charge Ghar app requires the following permissions for core functionality:

7Prohibited Conduct

• Providing false identity information or impersonating another person.
• Attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt Charge Ghar systems or stations.
• Using the service for any illegal activity under Nepalese law.
• Intentionally damaging or stealing Charge Ghar equipment.
• Creating fake accounts or using bot automation to exploit the platform.
• Reselling rented power banks or using them for commercial gain.

8Account Suspension & Termination

Charge Ghar reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to return power banks, engage in fraudulent behavior, dispute legitimate charges in bad faith, or fail to pay outstanding fees or penalties.

9Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through direct negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.

10Amendments

Charge Ghar reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes through in-app notifications. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
